My background in the design idustry |

Since the year 2000, I have worked in the design industry for a variety of studios in Malta, Dublin and London. Following this period, I founded MB Creations. This Malta based web and graphic design firm, offered web development and design services to a wide variety of clients, including some major design studios.
After approximately 2 years, I began publishing a bi-monthly magazine called 'Boats and Yachting'. A small team of recruits were employed to assist me with the editorial work. In 2005, the editor of the magazine (Richard Muscat Azzopardi) and I, set up a business partnership. The partnership continued growing in scope and work and a company was formed in 2006. It was therefore possible to incorporate both design and publication aspects into the company. The name also changed to ‘BMA’. Following the success of the first publication, BMA became one of Malta’s leading publishing houses. By 2008, the company employed over 10 people. In a relatively short space of time, the business expanded and began producing 5 publications. These included: Boats & Yachting, OnDeck, Nitro, Yell and Nomads. |
